Orange Diesel, which may be labeled “Sour Orange Diesel” at some outlets, is a sativa-leaning cannabis strain with pointy-tipped, chunky buds that smell strongly of orange, jet fuel, and moist earth. After exhaling the first hit, notes of citrus and soil play along the palette, with the diesel coming through in the aftertaste. The strain parents of Orange Diesel are Sour Diesel and Agent Orange
On average, lab results show it has about 14-16% THC by weight. This strain provides a focus, clear-headed buzz that can ward off depression, stress, or general feelings of low, sour moods. For medical patients, Orange Diesel may dampen chronic pain, inflammation, or even muscle spasticity in some people. Because it’s an “up” high, it can counteract fatigue, but should be reserved for morning or mid-day use unless the user plans to stay up into the wee hours of the night.
Common side effects from Orange Diesel include cottonmouth and red eyes.
