The cannabis strain Blueberry is an indica, emitting a skunky yet fruity blueberry scent and leaving an indulging, sweet aftertaste when consumed. It’s known to have beautifully colored hues of purple and indigo within its buds when ready to harvest, with patches of white trichomes covering its calyxes that surrounded with golden hairs.
Blueberry’s parent strains are crosses between the indica Afghani and two sativas of Thai and Purple Thai. It first emerged in the late 1970s in the Netherlands.
This potent strain is known to have THC levels at around 20%. First-timers should avoid it until you are more familiar with strains and their effects. Its high is known to last up to 3-4 hours and suppresses pain while couch-locking the consumer. It can cause sleepiness and a state of euphoria, lifting one’s spirits.
Because of its potency, it has been known to induce paranoia as an adverse side-effect along with the norms of dry mouth and eyes. Reviewers have noted that it can be difficult to hold conversations and be social when using this strain.
Blueberry is a recommended strain for outdoor growing and takes only about eight weeks to flower.
