Sour Cream is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that produces harvest-ready buds that are a deep green in color with brown pistils. Its scent and taste are of sweet vanilla candy with undertones of diesel.
THC levels of Sour Cream average in the higher teens, with one report stating it had a THC level of 23%. CBD levels of this strain are higher than normal, being just above 1%. Its high is known to help sedate the consumer and it recommended in helping with insomnia, making it a good choice for nighttime use despite its sativa dominance. Stresses of the day melt away and the mind reaches a cloud-9 calm.
The negative effects of this strain include slight paranoia or anxiousness when tolerance is unknown and the improper amount is consumed. Dry mouth and eyes are normal.
It takes about 10-11 weeks for Sour Cream to fully flower and isn’t recommended for the impatient cultivator.
