Papaya Kush is an evenly balanced cannabis hybrid strain. The popcorn nugs that blossom from this hybrid strain are covered in so many orange and brown pistil hairs that the calyxes and leaves are barely visible underneath the fur coat. The scent given off by these flowers is not terribly powerful, although there is a faint trace of fruitiness.
The smoke from Papaya Kush does bear the essence of the strain’s namesake – a creamy citrus that tastes much like papayas.
This strain is moderately strong, likely with THC levels slightly above average. It may serve as a good strain for beginners, but experienced smokers should still get a kick out of it. Its heady effects induce relaxation and chill in the smoker, and the body buzz may help with alleviating pain, reducing inflammation, or curbing menstrual cramps. Since it does not cause couch-lock but also does not lead to an incredibly wired buzz, it is ideal for use throughout the day.
Possible side effects include cottonmouth, red eyes, and anxiety in high doses.
