Winning the Dutch High Life Cup of ’99, Marley’s Collie is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain (with some claiming it to be sativa-dominant, dependent on crop) that derives its name from Jamaica – “collie” being slang for cannabis and Marley referencing Bob Marley. Its buds are small, fluffy, covered with loads of trichomes, and create a scent and taste of skunk and pine.
THC levels average between 23-28%, making it a highly potent strain. Its high will bring about a peaceful bliss over the mind’s eye, allowing the consumer to focus and experience a small spike in energy as the body relaxes. Munchies are induced, so have snacks handy. Creativity may also surge, allowing some tasks to become seemingly easier to accomplish.
Negative side-effects include paranoia if higher doses than one’s tolerance level are consumed.
It takes about nine weeks for Marley’s Collie to fully flower.

Marley’s Collie received its genetics from combining the sativa Jamaican with the indica Maple Leaf. Others claim this strain is a combination of Jam#2 and Ort15T7 strains. Marley’s Collie first blossomed under the care of Sensi Seeds.
