About this Hybrid Strain
The Arcata Trainwreck comes as tight, sticky buds one would expect from a sativa-dominant (70% sativa/30% indica) strain. Its flowers produce a sharp piney scent with minty hints, though its smoke reeks of diesel and wild skunk. It should have a faint lime flavor upon exhale.
Dried flowers typically weigh in around 16-20% THC, CBD at 0.1%, and CBG around 0.7%.
Like all Trainwreck strains, the Arcata Trainwreck’s high sets on fast and hard. However, the high doesn’t tend to hold for terribly long, usually a couple of hours at most. The length of its buzz may be a good or bad thing, depending on what the user is consuming it for. Because its effects tend to hit the brain rather than the body, it’s recommended for combatting depression, fatigue, or lack of concentration. For on-the-go consumers, it is reported that this strain may be perfect for quick but brief results.
Because it’s sativa-dominant, be wary of consuming too much too quickly. Anxiety and paranoia may accompany too-frequent tokes. It’s best to start out slow with this one until the smoker gets a better idea of how long it will last for them.
Growers should know this is a finicky strain (surprise, it’s a sativa). Flowering time can take anywhere from 7 to 10 weeks. It grows long, lanky stalks, so it’s a good candidate for Screen of Green setups. Mature plants will most likely need supports/posts to keep the stalks from slumping over.
