Bio Diesel

The award-winning strain Bio Diesel took first place in 2009 at Colorado’s 2nd annual Medical Marijuana Harvest Cup.

It’s been reputed to be a well-balanced hybrid, producing effects that elevate mood, increase energy, improve focus, or rally motivation according to reviewers. Some have noted Bio Diesel creates a pleasant numbing sensation throughout the body that eases aches and pains. This has led to a few consumers reporting how it’s a good strain to try when engaging in physical activities such as walks in nature or the city, yard games, or even having a full-blown workout.

A nicely grown and cured batch of Bio Diesel will produce buds that are fluffy but dense, a deep olive in color with hues of purple, and a light sprinkling of trichomes that give it a wet appearance. Its smell is not uncommon but can be strong as it emits an earthy yet spicy scent.

THC levels range in the low to mid 20’s, and some medical reviewers have said they’ve used it to help calm their PTSD, stress, and pain.

It takes about ten weeks for Bio-Diesel to fully flower.

Bio-Diesel is a cross between four different parent strains: the sativa Sour Diesel, indica Sensi Star, hybrid NYC Diesel, and the original Diesel. It first blossomed under the care of Denver Relief Farms in Colorado.
