Mendocino Purps, also called Mendo Purps or The Purps, is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that won the high Times Cannabis Cup in both 2007 and 2009. It produces buds that smell of pine and berries, with earthy undertones and the delicious flavor of coffee and caramel.
Mendo Purps' buds create a vivid purple hue when harvest-ready.
THC levels average in the high teens but are known to reach up to 22%. Its high will cause the consumer to feel tranquil as spirits are uplifted and stresses melt away. The body falls into a deep relaxation and sedation may occur – causing either laziness or sleepiness. Because of this effect, it’s best to consume this strain in the evenings or at night.
Ill side-effects of Meno Purps include your usual dry mouth and eyes with some experiencing either headache, dizziness or paranoia when higher doses are consumed.
It takes between eight and nine weeks for Mendo Purps to fully flower.
