Originating in the Waipi’o Valley on the main island of Hawaii, Waipi’o Hapa is a 100% sativa cannabis strain that produces spade-shaped buds that are neon green in color with lots of thin orange pistils. Its scent and taste are of mint and lime with earthy undertones.
Waipi’o Hapa receives its genetics from the sativa Hawaiian.
THC levels average between 21-25% making this strain potent and not recommended for novice consumers. Its high is known to boost energy and perfect for a lazy summer day. Lazy, since it does keep the mind easily distracted and can sometimes create what reviewers call psychedelic effects. It’s good for use during hikes, walks on the beach, or anything involving nature as nature will keep the mind active and distracted naturally, keeping paranoia or anxiousness at bay.
Negative side-effects include your normal cottonmouth and dry eyes with rare bouts of paranoia present only when too much has been consumed (esp. in novice consumers).
It takes between eight and nine weeks for Waipi’o Hapa to fully flower.
